This vintage Arabic oud was handcrafted in Aleppo, Syria, by the renowned Syrian oud maker Jamil Yorgaki Antoun in the 1940s.
The instrument is fully authentic, except for the big rosette which is a copy.
It features a walnut and beech wood bowl paired with an aged spruce top, producing the warm, rich, and resonant tone characteristic of traditional handmade Aleppo ouds.
This oud is considered rare and highly collectible, as the maker produced relatively few instruments, making his ouds difficult to find.
The instrument remains in excellent playable condition, making it suitable for musicians, collectors, and enthusiasts, and it is ready to play.
