Mahmoud Safi 1968

This vintage Arabic oud was handcrafted in Damascus, Syria, by the renowned Syrian oud maker Mahmoud Safi in 1968.

The instrument is 100% authentic except for the pickguard.

It features a walnut and beech wood bowl and an aged spruce top with bone rosettes.

Mahmoud Safi’s ouds were highly respected, and the famous composer Baligh Hamdi played his instruments on several occasions.
